Color to alpha is a blog based around “the gimp” its a Photoshop alternative. Mostly used by Linux users (because its pre-installed with most Linux distributions).Rubi Gonzalez and i (Marcus Martinez)created this blog with the intention to educate and inform people that a thousand dollar art medium like photoshop is not needed to make beautiful pleasant art .:) Our blog will consist of tutorials ,both video and written ,(something no other blog can offer) to you inspiring artists out there. the gimp is free and great at photo manipulation,retouching errors in photos,coloring drawn pictures,etc the list goes on

For the viewers who come to here to C2a its been a while since you’ve seen little to no new content . “Yea…wtf” well life gets crappy and shit happens , but now were good to go 
. Got a boatload of new tuts, Got me a wacom tablet (the $70 one ,not the $1000+ one) so were stepping on some new ground here. Photo manipulation that will blow your cranium apart and more of that smooth jazz. Here a couple of my drawings and colorings (just got the tablet so the art is kinda iffy but never the less will get better with time
